Project Advisory & Feasibility

Project Advisory & Feasibility

Bringing Clarity and Confidence to Chemical Projects

Executing a chemical project can feel like venturing into uncharted territory, where unforeseen risks elude even seasoned teams. We help you see exactly what you are walking into — stage by stage.

Follow the project lifecycle below — how we help, and what you receive at each stage.

Stage 1

Opportunity & Screening

Which molecules are the right bet — and which risks are hiding in the feasibility case?

We start by matching opportunity to your real capability, then pressure-test the numbers behind it before you commit.

What we do

  • A product list of best-fit molecules to target, based on your past processing capability and technology adjacency
  • Review of the BFS (Bankable Feasibility Study) report, highlighting the key risk areas

What you receive

A shortlist of best-fit target molecules and a marked-up BFS review that surfaces the risks before they reach your board.

Stage 2

Technology & Definition

Should you develop the technology or license it — and is the site and scope set up to win?

This phase turns direction into defensible decisions: build-vs-buy economics, site suitability, cost of absorption, statutory pathways, and long-term upside baked into the concept.

What we do

  • Develop-vs-license report stating the tentative cost saving of developing the technology in-house versus buying it from a licensor
  • A document highlighting the advantages and risks of selecting a particular site for the plant
  • In case of M&A, a feedback report on the total cost of absorption
  • Support in statutory approvals — geographic laws that can act as facilitators or deterrents, assessed against the prepared EIA report
  • Identification of opportunities that, when built into the project concept, yield long-term advantage

What you receive

A build-vs-license cost view, site and absorption assessments, a statutory-pathway read on the EIA, and concept-level opportunities that pay off over the project life.

Stage 3

Engineering Validation

Do the kick-off decisions, the WBS, and the engineering documents hold up before money is spent?

We read the founding documents of execution line by line to catch the corners that quietly become risk mid-project.

What we do

  • Review of the kick-off MoM and DCI to flag the corners that can create risk
  • Review of the WBS to check that resource-to-capital allocation is balanced
  • Checking of engineering documents for any missing angle that could create risk for the project

What you receive

A validation report on kick-off decisions, WBS balance, and engineering completeness — with each risk corner flagged early, while it is still cheap to fix.

Stage 4

Execution Assistance

When execution throws a catch-22, what keeps the project de-risked and on cost?

We stay alongside the team through execution — resolving the situations that stall projects and keeping dependency and cost under control.

What we do

  • Resolving catch-22 situations that arise during execution, such as changes in local regulation
  • Breaking down of contract orders to de-risk contractor dependency and save cost
  • Making a daily activity chart based on project progress
  • Decision risk assessment report

What you receive

Hands-on resolution of execution deadlocks, a de-risked contracting structure, a live daily activity chart, and a decision risk assessment to guide the calls that matter.

Stage 5

Commissioning & Handover

Is the workforce ready, the technology absorbed, and the plant proven before you take it over?

The final phase makes sure people and performance are ready — training, safety review, performance testing, and an honest read on readiness and gaps.

What we do

  • Training of the new workforce
  • Review and consolidation of the PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Review) documents
  • Performance testing support, verifying PGTR integrity
  • Workforce testing to assess technology absorption efficiency and maintenance knowledge
  • KPI understanding tests, and identification of key risk areas and knowledge gaps

What you receive

A trained, tested workforce; consolidated PSSR documentation; PGTR-verified performance; and a clear map of remaining risk areas and knowledge gaps before handover.
